October 19 2015
Two years it has been since, one october afternoon, I founded this blog. In this time, the blog has over 40 newsletter subscribers, more than 110 likes in Facebook, weekly mentions in Twitter and a bunch of faithful, supportive readers. Although we took a long break this year, we came back a few weeks ago with a brand new design, updated content and the lasting compromise to keep reporting on the So British comic heroes, Francis Blake and Philip Mortimer, created by the brilliant author Edgar P. Jacobs and carried on by Jean Van Hamme, Ted Benoit, André Juillard, Yves Sente, René Sterne, Chantal de Spiegeleer, Antoine Aubin, Jean Dufaux and Étienne Schréder, joined by a well chosen support team that keep the series going with, generally, high quality standards. This Christmas, for instance, Dargaud is publishing several set albums and luxe editions, while in 2016 we will get to read the upcoming 24th B&M adventure, by Sente and Juillard, titled The Will of William S and out in Decmber next year. Thank you Christian Laure, Chantal de Spiegeleer, José Luis Povo, Jidaff & Notto, Alain D, Christophe Alvès, Patrick Dumas, Ted Benoit, Madeleine de Mille and, above all, you, readers, who are the reason this blog exists and works. By Jove!
