The Adventures of Blake and Mortimer

Latest news... and goodbye.

Just a few months away from the publication of The Will of William S. (Sente/Juillard), its editors can't stop revealing extracts as a way to thrill readers. The two last ones, published by Ryun Reuchamps and Yves Schlirf through their respective Twitter profiles, are nothing less than an inking with texts and a set of sketches, both with Blake and Mortimer in them. We will have to wait until November 25 to find out how therse panels fit into the story...

Sadly, this blog won't make it that far. Due to lack of time and the existance of other demanding projects, mainly academical, this is bound to be its last article. Thank you all, readers, for following it day after day, artists, for devoting part of your time to answer our questions. It has been a truly great experience. To those of you who still want to keep up with the series' latest, and if you don't mind reading in Spanish, you can check out my Blake and Mortimer blog in Spanish, which remains active and reports on all the latest Blake and Mortimer news, and also publishes reviews, B&M book reccomendations, interviews, etc.

All the best, old chaps!

Latest news... and goodbye.

So sad that you're ending the blog, but I wish you good luck with your projects. Here's something interesting from the Cinebook catalogue:

In Venice, a boating accident leads to the dis- covery of a 400 year old text bearing the sig- nature ‘W.S.’ and promising the truth about the ‘Shakespeare mystery’. That very night, someone tries unsuccessfully to steal the precious document. The discoverer, Marquis Stefano Da Spiri, decides to send a copy of the document to a specialist of the Bard in London for stylistic authentication. As for the original, he entrusts it to an old comrade in arms from WW2: Captain Francis Blake...
